The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published by the Commission
in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided
that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of
the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates
will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to
the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list.

Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and
01.01.1991 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for
this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.

7. Qualifications :
1. Master’s Degree in the Subject concerned with not less than 55% marks or its
equivalent and good academic record .
2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically
conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state
government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be
given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note: (i) For SC/ST candidates minimum 50% marks for Masters Degree shall

(ii) For PhD holders who have passed Master's Degree prior to
19.09.1991, 50% marks for Master's Degree shall be sufficient.

(iii) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned
or have passed M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject by 31/12/1993
are exempted from passing the NET examination(G.O.

dated 17.09.2002)
(iv) For recruitment to various posts under these rules, Degrees awarded
by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
8. Method of submitting Applications:-
